Serious incident yesterday in Saranda/ 8 boats blocked, the damaged boat is pulled out of the water

At noon this Tuesday, specialists from the Vlora Border Police Directorate, with the help of a crane, made it possible to remove from the water the vehicle involved in the accident that occurred on Monday in Ksamil where 22-year-old Albion Kreçi lost his life.

After colliding with the police boat, the vehicle broke apart and sank. The vehicle was found at a depth of 34 m and after being recovered from the water, it was transported to the impoundment site in Ksamil and will serve as material evidence for the investigation of the incident.

At the same time today, during a control exercised on water vehicles, the Saranda Border Police impounded 8 vehicles, 7 in Ksamil and 1 in Saranda. Meanwhile, the impounded vehicles were brought to the port of Saranda for further verifications.
