From the phone call after the crime, to the path the perpetrator chose/ Towards

The search for the perpetrator of the double murder in Greece, where the target of the attack was a Greek owner and his Albanian confidant, continues. The incident took place at the Finikounda campsite, while the perpetrator was still on the run.
Although the authorities have mapped out his escape route – from Messinia to Athens – he remains missing, without being found so far.

According to SKAI, the perpetrator, who was traveling on a white scooter with covered license plates, is suspected of having moved after Finikounda towards Methoni, Pylos, Filiatra and Kyparissia. He then crossed outside the prefecture of Messinia, was found in Pyrgos Ilias, then in Corinth and most recently in Haidari, where his traces are lost. Police officers from the Crimes Against Life Directorate have mapped out his route, assessing that the perpetrator chose older national and provincial roads to avoid areas with a dense network of security cameras. Analysis of the videos shows that he knew the areas well and how to move without being noticed, while the scooter's license plates were camouflaged with dark-colored plastic so that the registration number was not recognizable — not even at the two gas stations where he stopped for fuel.

The Hellenic police do not believe, at least for the moment, that the getaway vehicle was stolen, while they are also examining the footage from the cameras in the opposite direction to trace the perpetrator's path to Finikounda before the murder.
The authorities do not rule out the possibility of a "killer", so they are comparing two wills related to the case, looking for possible "disgruntled people" who may have had a motive. We recall that part of the property, the Greek citizen left in his will and to his employee, an Albanian citizen. The perpetrator of the crime is considered to be either directly involved with the owner of the campsite, or an executor who was paid for the act.

Authorities are also examining a phone call made at the time of the murder from the campsite – possibly, according to estimates, a confirmation call from the perpetrator after the execution. Police are continuing their investigation with all available means, while officers estimate that his arrest is only a matter of time.
