Links to the Albanian mafia, investigations begin for the Italian lawyer, details

The Perugia Prosecutor's Office has launched investigations against Italian criminal lawyer Daniela Paccoi, suspected of involvement in an international criminal drug trafficking organization based in Albania.

According to investigations, the lawyer is suspected of having served as an intermediary between the leaders of the criminal group and a client of hers, who was previously arrested with a significant amount of cocaine.

She faces charges such as conspiracy to traffic narcotics and incitement to make false statements, while the investigation also includes other individuals, including an Albanian citizen suspected of being part of the organization's structure in Italy.

Italian authorities suspect that the lawyer passed messages and money to the arrested man, helping to hide other members of the criminal group.

Investigations continue to fully uncover her suspected role and connections to the international drug trafficking network.
