Race for new SPAK leader, Adnan Xholi unveils platform: Time to crack down on crime with criminal and property investigations

The meeting of the High Prosecutorial Council has begun, which will conclude with the election of the new head of the Special Prosecution Office, after the end of Altin Dumani's mandate.
There are four candidates in the race: Klodian Braho, Doloreza Musabelliu, Adnan Xholi and Elvin Gokaj.
The first to begin the interview was SPAK prosecutor Adnan Xholi, who provided a summary of his qualifications and professional experiences that, according to him, qualify him for the important position.
Xholi stated that the Special Prosecution Office is now at a very important momentum in terms of the uncompromising fight against corruption of high-ranking officials and organized crime.
"As planned, at 09.00 the hearings with each of them began. According to the KLP, the interviews will be conducted in alphabetical order, and each candidate will be interviewed for 45 minutes. SPAK is in an important period of consolidation where the implementation of the institution's strategies is directly related to the uncompromising fight against corruption of senior officials and organized crime.
"I appreciate all the candidates and regardless of today's result, I will support them in their work. We work with each other and they are my family in the justice system. I spend more time with them than with my biological family.
The time has come for quality investigations in a timely manner to crack down on crime with criminal and property investigations ," he said.
Adnan Xholi was born in Dibër on July 6, 1975. He completed his studies as a lawyer at the Faculty of Law. He was appointed as a prosecutor on January 6, 2004.
