A large-scale action by the Saranda Prosecutor's Office was carried out this Monday, where 12 arrest warrants were signed against employees of the Saranda Police Station, local officials, as well as persons related to the construction and business sectors.
The investigations are related to suspicions of various criminal violations related to illegal construction in the areas of Saranda and Ksamil.
The operation is being carried out by the structures of the Vlora Local Police Directorate in cooperation with the Saranda Police Station. So far, it is reported that two people have been arrested, a police officer and a businessman, while their identities have not yet been made public.
So far, Kristofor Shkrepa, a police specialist in Ksamil, and Alqi Papa, owner of the 'Oasis' hotel, have been arrested.
Meanwhile, a security measure has also been issued for the chief inspector of IMT in Saranda, Eduart Veli, as well as for Arjola Dhrami and Xhaferr Bajon, owners of the Copacabana beach bar in Ksamil.
Security measures also for builder Merdar Koshi, who is suspected of having built two floors without a permit in the center of Saranda.
