Rama: Meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz soon

Prime Minister Edi Rama declared from Durrës that he will soon hold a meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
According to him, this meeting shows the continuity of relations between Albania and Germany and refutes the opposition's claims of a deterioration of these relations.
Rama also spoke about Albania's European integration process, emphasizing the progress of negotiations with the European Union and the aim of concluding them within 2027.
"Today is also the day before the meeting of the Intergovernmental Conference between Albania and the EU in Brussels tomorrow, where the conclusion of the introductory phase and the opening of the final phase of the negotiations for EU membership will be sealed," Rama said.
“This means that Albania, after opening all chapters of the accession negotiations in record time… is now considered ready to start closing the chapters.”
Rama also commented on domestic politics, criticizing the opposition: Those in the DP fall for the hook the same way, they don't need bait. They find themselves on the hook themselves.
At the head of what is mistakenly called the opposition, a remnant of communism... The sunken Albania of pyramids could not have been an Albania without a thousand and one holes and gaps.
