DAP lands in Peqin prison, surprise cell checks

The DAP landed this Saturday morning at the high-security prison in Peqin, where it began surprise cell searches.

According to TCH, DAP operational forces were deployed on the orders of the general director of prisons.

The operation includes an in-depth search of all the institution's premises, while actions are being carried out in the field through a considerable number of operational vehicles and personnel.

So far there is no additional information regarding the reasons for the order or the outcome of the inspection.
