Apartment engulfed in flames, 42-year-old woman dies from asphyxiation in Durrës

A serious incident has occurred in Durrës, where a 42-year-old woman lost her life from asphyxiation after her apartment was engulfed in flames.

"Around 2:00 PM, Durrës Police were notified that a fire had broken out in an apartment in the village of Shënavlash, suspected to be the result of an electrical spark. As a result, it is suspected that citizen KM, 42 years old, lost her life from asphyxiation," the police announced.

Police and fire services have managed to extinguish the fire. The investigation team is working to fully clarify and document the circumstances of this case.
