Accident in Lushnje, BMW driver hits a horse! His wife ends up in hospital

An accident occurred this evening on the Tri Urat - Lushnje road axis, where a BMW vehicle collided with a horse that suddenly appeared on the road.

Due to the collision, the animal died on the spot, while the driver's wife was urgently taken to Lushnja Hospital for medical assistance.

According to the Lushnja Traffic Police, the driver of the vehicle was unable to maneuver to avoid the accident, making the collision inevitable. In addition to the extensive damage to the animal, the BMW suffered extensive material damage.

This national road axis, which connects Lushnje with Grabjani and Çerma, is particularly dangerous in dark conditions.

There are iron barriers on both sides of the road, but they do not prevent animals from crossing, creating a high risk of accidents.
