Trabzonspor makes decision on Muçi, ready to offer to Besiktas

Ernest Muci's future at Trabzonspor looks increasingly closer to a permanent stay, as the Turkish club's leaders have confirmed their serious interest in finally purchasing the Albanian striker's card.
Trabzonspor president Ertugrul Dogan told Turkish media that coach Fatih Tekke considers Muçi a very important part of the project and has asked the club to do its utmost to keep him in the team.
According to reports from Turkey, Trabzonspor is working to maintain the team's current base and the Albanian is one of the main priorities of the transfer market.
Muçi is having the best season of his career, recording 13 goals and 8 assists in 32 matches in all competitions. Despite suffering an injury in April, he continues to be one of the most important players in the offensive department and one of the most valued players by coach Tekke.
The Turkish club has prepared an offer of 5 million euros to secure the player's card, while Besiktas is asking for around 8.5 million euros and does not seem willing to lower its financial demands.
May 10 is considered a crucial date for the deal, as Trabzonspor have until then to activate their purchase option. The club's management must quickly make a final decision on whether to meet Besiktas' demands to keep the Albanian striker in the team.
