Ronaldinho: I hope PSG realize their dream of becoming European champions

Former Brazilian star Ronaldinho has expressed his desire for PSG to finally realize their long-awaited dream of winning the Champions League. The Brazilian legend, who was once warmly welcomed by the Parisian club in its early days in Europe, has praised the current PSG squad and its coach, wishing them success in the most important continental competition.

Ronaldinho spent two years in Paris, making 55 appearances and scoring 17 goals before moving to Barcelona. "I hope PSG become European champions," Ronaldinho said. "They treated me with great love when I arrived in Europe and they have been following this dream for many years."

The 45-year-old also stressed the importance of the club's current coach, with whom he has a close friendly relationship: "The Parisians have a great coach, who is also a good friend of mine. I hope things end well and they win the Champions League, which they want so much."

PSG is preparing to face Inter in the Munich final on May 31, a match that could finally bring the long-sought trophy to the French club, after the disappointment in 2020, when they lost to Bayern Munich at the "Stadio da Luz", in Lisbon, Portugal.
