Incident with goalkeeper Audero, severe punishment for Inter fans

The Italian government has taken strict measures against Inter fans after the incident that occurred during the weekend's away match against Cremonese.
Italy's Interior Minister, Matteo Piantedosi, has signed a decree that provides for a transfer ban for Inter fans until March 23, 2026, as well as a ban on the sale of tickets to residents of Lombardy for the same matches.
This decision comes after a firecracker was thrown into the stadium, which hit Cremonese goalkeeper Emil Audero, causing alarm and strong reactions.
According to the Viminale announcement, the measure was taken for security reasons: "The decision aims to guarantee the protection of public order and safety and prevent the recurrence of episodes that could compromise the regular development of sporting events."
However, the Milan-Inter derby on March 8 is excluded from these measures, as authorities have assessed that there will be no fan movement at that meeting, given that the match takes place in the same city.
