'Unprepared and arrogant'/ 'The Times' criticizes Zlatan Ibrahimovic as a commentator

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is going through a difficult period in his career. The Swede is increasingly the target of fan disputes over the management of Milan in recent years and especially for the chaos of recent weeks due to a still non-existent club structure and a series of rejections coming from coaches and directors of different clubs.

The former Swedish striker's position in the eyes of the fans has been shaken even more recently. There are many who did not welcome Ibrahimovic's choice to travel to the US to commentate on the World Cup for Fox Sports at such a difficult and delicate moment for Milan.

But the TV commentator's experience is not bringing him positive reviews. In fact, Ibrahimovic has been harshly criticized by The Times for his on-air style.

'With less Zlatan and the program would be better' - was the attack of columnist Andrew Marchand who then argues his position.

"The problem for Zlatan so far is that he doesn't seem to know anything specific about many of the teams or their players," Marchand continued. " When Fox aired the story of American-turned-Canada coach Jesse Marsch before the first game last week, it seemed like Zlatan had never heard of him."

Marchand's discussion of Thierry Henry is different. 'All elegant and illuminating analysis,' he said.

But the avalanche of criticism does not seem to have faded Ibrahimovic's confidence.
