"Why are you so silent?"/ Alesia Balliu explodes against Sali and Shkëlzen Berisha: They are in with the lands of Zvërnec, the "Osmani" Clan and the arrested Ilir Shtufi!

Democrat and lawyer, Alesia Balliu, has made strong accusations against Sali Berisha regarding the recent investigations and arrests by SPAK. Speaking on the "Frontline" show, she said that the core of the problem with the properties in Zvërnec lies in the alienation of lands during the time Sali Berisha was prime minister.

Praising the protests taking place in Tirana against the investment in Zvërnec, Balliu said that the protesters in the square are the real opposition today. This is because, according to Balliu, the DP and the leader of the Democrat Party, Sali Berisha, are sold out to Prime Minister Edi Rama.

"These properties were alienated during Berisha's time. Yesterday was a slap in the face for the government, as they are undoubtedly not up to European standards, they have not listened to interest groups, they have not listened to public opinion, there is no transparency in the project. Let's not pretend that this project does not exist. This is a very positive civic protest that has given Rama and Berisha a slap in the face. Albanians have woken up and have awakened the spirit of protest throughout Albania, opposing not only the flamingo issue here, but also medicines, healthcare, education, everything. They have proven that they have come out against the Rama-Berisha duo. The opposition has been eliminated, because it has been sold out. As long as Berisha, the main guarantor of Rama's power, is at the helm, it cannot be called an opposition," Balliu said, among other things.

Balliu further accused Sali Berisha and his son, Shkëlzeni, of being connected to criminal groups.

She said that he is involved in the Aruba case and has strong ties to the arrested businessman Ilir Shtufi and the "Osmani" clan:  " Why didn't Berisha request the establishment of an Investigative Commission on the Aruba case, or that his son was involved. Why doesn't Sali Berisha speak about Ilir Shtufi? Why is Berisha's mouth closed? Why does his son live in Ilir Shtufi's luxurious villa, which is accused by SPAK of laundering dirty money and cocaine. Berisha should answer these questions. Citizens are protesting for these, but also for the government's abuse. Sali Berisha and his son are directly linked to the Osmani clan. Berisha does not represent the opposition today, but personal and family interests, for which he is always silent as a skunk ," said Balliu.
