Guardiola: A point is better than a defeat, let's keep fighting!

A spectacular 3-3 draw with Everton has left its mark on Manchester City's title race, with manager Pep Guardiola admitting his team no longer have their fortunes completely in their hands in the Premier League.
After the match, the Spanish coach appeared restrained in his analysis, praising his team's performance, but also the strength of the opponent. "It was a really good performance. The first half was excellent, but in the second we lost control and were punished," he told the media.
Guardiola highlighted the difficulties that always come with a move to Goodison Park, highlighting the physical and aggressive style of the home team. "They play typical English football, very strong in duels and organised in defence. It's not easy to break through when they have so many players behind the ball," said the City manager.
However, despite the disappointment of dropping two points, Guardiola tried to look on the bright side. "We get a point and we move on. It's better than a defeat. The team fought and showed character," he said, acknowledging that the situation in the standings has become more complicated: "Before, everything was in our hands, now it's not."
Finally, he looked ahead to the remaining challenges of the season, where any mistake could be decisive. "We have to give our best in the last four games. It will be a similar challenge against Brentford. We will see how it goes," Guardiola concluded.
