Pope Leo XIV again commented on the words of US President Donald Trump, who has criticized him for his approach to nuclear weapons.
Outside his residence in Castel Gandolfo, the Pope stopped with a group of journalists and said: "The mission of the Church is to proclaim the Gospel, to preach peace. If someone wants to criticize me for proclaiming the Gospel, let him do so with the truth."
