Prime Minister Edi Rama has attacked protesters who have been in revolt against the government for days, while also opposing construction in Zvërnec and other protected areas. During a speech in Vlora, at the event for the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Party in this region, Rama used harsh tones towards the participants in the protests, describing them as people who "lack logic" and who are "brainless."

The head of government said that he has no intention of dealing with people who, according to him, do not understand the arguments and facts presented by the government.

"We don't deal with all kinds of people. There are people who have no logic at all, they are brainless," Rama said during his speech.

Yesterday, the sixth consecutive protest against Rama and his government was held in front of the Prime Minister's Office, as citizens demand the Prime Minister's resignation.
