The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has reacted after the blockade of the Librazhd-Prrenjas road segment, which has paralyzed thousands of people and the entire southeast area. He has accused the government of corruption and lawlessness.

According to Berisha, the situation has left hundreds of citizens stranded for hours in the southeast of the country. He dismissed claims that the road damage was caused by weather conditions, linking the situation to illegal encroachment on the riverbed.

"The road was not destroyed by the weather, but by corruption," said the leading democrat.

Berisha directly accused the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, of irresponsibility and allowing illegal interventions.
