Alarming situation! Landslide and bridge collapse, authorities take drastic decision

The situation on the road segment at Arrat e Gurrës is deteriorating significantly. Over the past few hours, the landslide and the sinking of the bridge have continued with even greater intensity, significantly increasing the risk for all types of traffic.

At around 10:00 PM, after blocking vehicle traffic due to the worsening situation, the authorities made an even more drastic decision: pedestrian traffic, as well as emergency vehicles - fire engines, police and ambulances - in the damaged segment was completely banned.

Emergency services vehicles will be diverted via an alternative route passing through the villages of Spathar and Dardhë, while authorities call on citizens to avoid any attempt to cross into the danger zone.

The situation remains dynamic and under constant monitoring, while the risk of complete collapse of the structure has forced authorities to completely isolate the area, turning one of the country's most important axes into a critical infrastructure point.
