Rama on the migrant agreement with Italy: It will continue as long as Rome wants it to

The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, has reacted on the social network X regarding the agreement between Albania and Italy on the treatment of refugees, following reports that, according to him, have distorted the statements of the Albanian Foreign Minister.

Rama stressed that the protocol between the two countries is stable and will continue to be implemented as long as the Italian side wishes.

"To all journalists from Italy and beyond who are contacting us regarding a distorted quote reported by a media outlet following an interview with the Albanian Foreign Minister:

"Let me reiterate, clearly and I hope once and for all, that our Protocol with Italy is here to stay, for as long as Italy wants it,"  Rama writes.
