Accompanied by Gazment Bardhi, Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha cast his vote today for the DP National Council.

After voting, in a speech to the media, Berisha said that Democrats have an obligation to support new candidacies, while expressing that his election in today's race was very difficult because the candidacies are excellent.

"I was late because this time I divided 3 categories into voting categories, separately for men, separately for women, and separately for young people. I believe I acted fairly. I hope that women reach 40%. The election was difficult. It is a statutory obligation for young people to be as present as possible and their quotas to be respected. Renewal with new names without question. The lists are among the most dignified. The multitude of candidacies makes the election difficult, " said Berisha after casting his vote.
