Monika Kryemadhi has revealed in "Top Story" a detail, according to her, a promise that former SPAK head Altin Dumani made to the US after taking office in 2022.
Kryemadhi stated that Dumani promised Juri Kim, then the US ambassador to Albania, that he would arrest Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta.
"Altin Dumani took up the issue in 2018, with the famous idea and proposal that I will take Ilir Meta to prison, you should make me the chairman of SPAK. You know very well that in 2019 when the story began, it was the battle between Altin Dumani and Arben Krajës.
He then withdrew and Arben Kraja was elected. Then in 2022, when Altin Dumani came to head SPAK, one of the promises made to Juri Kim was the idea of arresting Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta.
"After all, it was the famous idea that the leader of the opposition would be Lulzim Basha, while the leader of the majority would be Erion Veliaj. This was like a political strategy, that by arresting Berisha and Meta, Rama would automatically leave, the famous Bermuda Triangle," said Kryemadhi.
