The Chairman of the Euro-Atlantic Coalition, Endri Hasa, in an interview with Euronews Albania spoke about the alternative they will present in the May 11 elections. Hasa said that the importance is the discussion of political alternatives for Albanians and that politics is not made by party leaders, but by people and parties that are unions of volunteers.
He added that what is important is the mission and program offered by this coalition, which will present its alternative in the May 11 elections. Hasa further said that this coalition is committed to offering a clear and credible alternative, focusing on the candidates and people who represent this alternative in every corner of Albania.
" I believe that it is important for the public, for Albanians, to talk about politics, to talk about alternatives, to talk about what we can offer Albanians. I do not believe, as I have never believed, that party leaders make politics. Politics are made by people and political parties are ultimately voluntary associations of people. What is important is to talk here about what our mission is, what the program is and what we want to offer Albanians on May 11. The technicalities that in many cases are more legal technicalities, because in themselves the party is made by people, the party is made by the mission and the party is made by the alternative. And what the Euro-Atlantic Coalition undertakes is the presentation of this alternative in the elections. Of that alternative that the Euro-Atlantic democrats want to offer Albanians on May 11, keeping their word. The word given on June 11, that we will at all costs see before the Albanians the alternative of the program that we have presented, the alternative of the Euro-Atlantic democrats for the elections of May 11. It is not important who the mayors are, what is important is who the candidates are, who the candidates are in every corner of Albania, who the people who represent our alternative are and who the people who will advance an alternative that will give Albanians something different, something that is done by people who believe in values and not people who believe in individuals. We are outside the cult of the individual "- said Hasa.
