Debate on "prison arrest" between Muçollari and Muharrem: You PS people often deceive yourselves

Invited to "Off the Record" by Andrea Danglli, on A2 CNN, member of the Presidency of the DP, Grigels Muçollari, and advisor to the SP, Alfred Muharremi, were involved in a debate regarding the Supreme Court's initiative to review the judicial practice on the measure "prison arrest".
During the studio discussion, Muharremi brought up a hypothetical example to argue that not every violation should automatically lead to prison, emphasizing that the specific case and the proportionality of the measure must be considered.
Muharrem: You have me in front of you, forgive me if I make an example. You have me in front of you, I lost my mind tomorrow, I made a mistake, I committed a misdemeanor.
Muçollari: You SP people are often mistaken.
Muharremi: Look, I committed a misdemeanor, not a criminal offense, but a traffic offense. I walked unintentionally, I hit someone, even if it was far away. Look, if there was no intention, you can't automatically put me in jail.
Muçollari: Your president and the prime minister of this country have mentioned the word "prison" more than all the guards of the republic in these years of government. He has talked about prison for non-payment, for illegal electricity connections, for theft. Serious crime, yes, we should put him in prison.
Meanwhile, today, the Joint Panels of the Supreme Court met to review a unifying decision from 2011, with the aim of standardizing judicial practice for determining the security measure "prison arrest", in accordance with the amendments to the Criminal Code and the practices of the European Court of Human Rights.
