Melania Trump denies ties to Epstein: Enough with the rumors, this story must be closed

Melania Trump has publicly denied any connection to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, calling the allegations "false" and demanding that they "end immediately."
In a surprise statement from the White House, the First Lady stressed that she had no relationship with Epstein and that her only contact with him was brief, around 2000. She added that she had no knowledge of the abuse of the victims and was never involved in any way.
Melania Trump also rejected claims that Epstein had introduced her to her husband, Donald Trump, calling them attempts to damage her reputation.
She also denied knowing Ghislaine Maxwell, describing a published email from 2002 as "casual correspondence" and a formal response without any particular significance.
At the same time, the First Lady called for congressional hearings for victims of sex trafficking linked to the Epstein case, demanding that they have the opportunity to testify publicly under oath.
"Every woman should have the opportunity to tell her story and have that testimony remain in the records of Congress ," she said.
