The "Artemis II" mission successfully ends, the Orion capsule lands in the Pacific after traveling around the Moon

The long-awaited Artemis II mission has successfully concluded, as the Orion space capsule landed in the Pacific Ocean, off the coast of California, thus concluding the astronauts' historic journey to and around the Moon.
The crew consisting of Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch and Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen successfully completed one of the most important steps towards returning man to the Moon, a goal that is intended to be achieved around 2030.
The most critical moment of the mission was the re-entry into Earth's atmosphere, when the Orion capsule entered the Pacific Ocean, about 3,200 kilometers off the coast of the United States. For about six minutes there was no communication with the crew, due to the extreme temperatures that exceeded 2,000 degrees Celsius during re-entry.
However, everything went according to plan. The parachutes opened at the right time, allowing for a soft landing in the sea at 02:07 in the morning, without any problems.
According to NASA, the astronauts were not in danger at any time, thanks to the capsule's advanced heat shield. Dozens of naval and air assets from the armed forces and the US Coast Guard were deployed in the landing zone to ensure the safety of the operation.
After landing, some minor problems in communication between the capsule and the control center were reported, but they were not considered worrisome.
The Artemis II mission is considered a key step for the American space program, paving the way for humans to return to the Moon after more than five decades.
Welcome home Reid, Victor, Christina, and Jeremy! ????
