Third in 18 months! Kosovo votes today in early parliamentary elections

Kosovo votes today! Voting centers across Kosovo opened today at 07:00 in the morning, marking the start of the process for early parliamentary elections.
Over 2 million eligible citizens are expected to head to the ballot boxes to elect the new composition of the Assembly, in elections taking place after a long period of political deadlock.
These are the third elections held in 18 months, after the failure of political forces to reach consensus on key institutional issues. The election campaign was dominated by promises of economic development, the fight against corruption and the strengthening of democratic institutions.
The country's main political parties are competing to secure the majority needed to form a new government. Analysts believe that the outcome of these elections will be crucial for unblocking the political situation and guaranteeing institutional stability in the country.
The voting process will continue until 19:00, when polling stations are expected to close and vote counting will begin. Preliminary results are expected to be published during the evening.
