Saranda police have arrested a 37-year-old man in flagrante delicto, suspected of illegal possession of weapons and sale of narcotics.
According to the police report, citizen Aleksandro Hizmo, 37, a resident of Saranda, was arrested.
The arrest was made after checks carried out by the Police services in various premises and entities in the city, also based on information obtained through operational means.
During the search of the premises managed by the 37-year-old, in neighborhood no. 4 of Saranda, as well as during the physical search of him, the officers found and seized a pistol firearm with a 7-round magazine, as well as a quantity of narcotics suspected of being cocaine.
According to preliminary investigations, the narcotics were suspected to have been possessed with the intention of being sold at the premises managed by the arrested person.
