Tributes are being held in honor of the distinguished actor, Birçe Hasko, who passed away at the age of 84.

Tributes were held today in honor of the famous Albanian actor, Birçe Hasko. As announced, the tributes were held at the Academy of Arts, where well-known figures of the Albanian scene and not only, the actor's friends and family took part. After the tributes, the actor will be escorted to his final resting place.
WHO WAS BIRÇE HASKO?
Birçe Hasko closed her eyes yesterday forever at the age of 84, leaving behind 32 roles in cinematography and 12 others in theater, the "Grand Master"
Artist on stage and professor who, at the genesis, the "Merited Artist" skillfully conveyed the scenic art to entire generations of students at the Academy of Arts, where he served as a lecturer and dean for several years.
Born in Dukat, Birçe Hasko served as a teacher and principal in schools in several villages in Vlora and Tepelena until 1965, when he left to pursue higher studies in acting at the Higher Institute of Arts from 1965 to 1969. Upon completion of his studies, Hasko continued his work as a lecturer in the Acting Mastery at the Academy of Arts, never leaving teaching and the stage.
With an extraordinary, original, elegant, direct, sometimes provocative, majestic and serious plasticity, Birçe Hasko performed in the films: "When a Day Dawned" in the role of the ballista Sulo, in "Mountains with a Covered Bag", "Man with a Cannon", "Concert in 1936", "Radio Station", "And a Day Comes", "Fairy Tale from the Past", "Temporary Shine", "Dear Enemy", "Rain on the Beach" etc. His last role is in the film "Provincial Chronicle" in 2009.
Birçe Hasko has also staged many etudes, fragments, as well as 18 complete dramatic works, thus completing the image of the multidimensional artist.
