"Iran's military is almost non-existent", Trump: Kurds are ready

US President Donald Trump says he rules out the possibility of the Kurds joining Iran's war.

Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One that Kurdish fighters in the region are willing to help in efforts to overthrow the Iranian government, but their involvement would make the conflict more complicated.

"The war is complicated enough without the Kurds involved," Trump said.

Trump also told reporters that the war against Iran is going very well and declared that Iran's military is "almost nonexistent" after the first week of the conflict.

Trump declared that the US had “destroyed” Iran’s naval and air forces, as well as most of its missiles, insisting that it “hits them where it hurts.” Asked how long he expects the war to last, the US president replied that he did not know and was ready for “whatever it takes.”
