Tragedy in Brazil/ They forget to tie her safety rope, 21-year-old woman jumps

A shocking incident has shocked Brazil and social media around the world. Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freitas, just 21 years old, tragically lost her life after the organizers of an extreme jump allegedly forgot to attach her safety rope before throwing her off a bridge.

According to Brazilian media, the young woman was participating in an organized rope jumping activity from the so-called "Skeleton Bridge" in the city of Limeira. In the footage that has circulated on social media, Maria is seen preparing for the jump, unaware that a fatal mistake was hidden behind her.

Moments later, she jumps off the bridge and falls about 40 meters into the abyss, as the safety rope was not tied. In the video, the rope can reportedly be seen left on the ground, as the 21-year-old falls to her death.

Ironically, shortly before the tragedy, Maria had posted photos and videos from the event on social media. In one of her posts, she humorously wrote:

"Who was that crazy person who let me jump off a bridge?"

A sentence that, after the event, has become the most chilling detail in the entire story.

Police have arrested three people and launched an investigation to determine who was responsible. According to authorities, the two people who were preparing the young woman for the jump failed to explain how the mistake occurred and who was in charge of checking the safety rope.

Authorities have said that it was not the first jump of the day. Dozens of other people had performed the same activity without any incident, which makes the tragedy even more serious.

The incident has caused anger and numerous reactions on social media, with many people demanding maximum punishment for those responsible for the 21-year-old's death.
