Netanyahu reacts after attacks on Iran: We will not allow nuclear weapons in their hands

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reacted to the attacks on Iran, confirming that the operation was carried out in cooperation with the United States.
In a public statement, Netanyahu said the aim of the operation is to eliminate the threat that, according to him, the Iranian regime poses to the security of Israel and the region.
"A short time ago, Israel and the United States launched an operation to remove the existential threat posed by the regime in Iran," he said, thanking US President Donald Trump for what he called "historic leadership."
Netanyahu stressed that Iran should not acquire nuclear weapons, describing this as a threat to international security.
The Israeli Prime Minister called on citizens to follow the instructions of the Home Front Command during the operation called "Lion's Dig", appealing for resilience and unity in this period of tension.
In his statement, Netanyahu also spoke about the right of the Iranian people to decide their own future, mentioning different communities within Iran and expressing support for a "free and peaceful" Iran.
