Russian bombing of power grid, Ukraine announces power restrictions!

Ukraine announced it would impose additional restrictions on electricity consumption for facilities not considered "vital" as it tries to repair energy infrastructure damaged by Russian attacks.

The news was announced today (December 9) by Prime Minister Yulia Svirydenko.

Authorities will narrow down the lists of facilities suitable for uninterrupted power supply.

They will allow energy imports for state-owned companies, Svirydenko said, in a post on X.

Almost every day, Russia bombs not only Ukrainian residential and military centers, but also its energy grid and strategic sectors.
