Accused of sharing classified information with Epstein, King Charles orders

King Charles III has asked his brother, Prince Andrew, to completely vacate his Windsor residence, setting a firm deadline for him to leave.

According to international media, the monarch had given Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor a deadline last month to move out of the 30-room residence at Royal Lodge, where he had lived for more than two decades.

Prince Andrew has been ordered to thoroughly clean his former residence, Royal Lodge in Windsor, by the weekend, as staff begin the process of moving out.

According to reports, containers filled with items have been removed from the property, while transport vans continue to move to remove objects from the residence's premises. Some of the personal belongings and unwanted furniture have been burned on the property's territory.

A source said, “Andrew was told that everything must be taken out and nothing must be left behind. He has not come to collect any items, leaving the staff to finish the work until the weekend. There must be no trace of the former residents or staff.”

Aerial photos show full shipping containers near the back and front of the 30-room royal residence. The area appears largely empty, while guards have not been seen at the entrance to Windsor Great Park near the gates of Royal Lodge.

Sources suggest that several of Andrew's former servants were involved in removing the items, including one person who was seen burning furniture and personal belongings of the former prince.

On Wednesday, transport workers were seen loading items, including a mattress, into two vans outside the man's home. The transport firm was JDL, which, according to its website, specializes in Television and Film Transport.

Online evidence suggests the company previously worked on the Netflix series The Crown, which depicts the lives of members of the modern-day royal family, including Andrew. Our source added: “The property is like a ghost town as many staff have left and it is now almost empty.

"Who knows when it will be finished, as a lot of construction work is needed to restore it to its former glory, like when the Queen Mother lived there."

Andrew's departure from Royal Lodge - along with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, who lived with him rent-free for much of the past two decades - cements his spectacular fall from grace.

The king has stripped him of his 24-hour security and his personal allowance. He will no longer have a servant at his disposal, nor will he be lavished with taxpayers' money, as he has throughout his pampered life.

Thames Valley Police officers are investigating allegations that the former prince committed misconduct in a public capacity. Andrew was questioned for 11 hours by detectives who were assessing allegations that he shared sensitive information with Epstein when he was a UK trade envoy.

The charges stem from documents released by the US Justice Department regarding Epstein and his connections to the rich and powerful. Emails apparently sent by the King's brother appear to show Mountbatten-Windsor sharing reports of official visits to Hong Kong, Vietnam and Singapore.

Another email appears to have sent Epstein confidential information on investment opportunities in the reconstruction of Helmand Province, Afghanistan.

Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing or allegations against him, but has not responded directly to these latest allegations. In response to his brother's dramatic arrest, the King expressed his "deepest concern" but said "the law must take its course."

Buckingham Palace also said the police had the King's "full and wholehearted support and cooperation." Pressure has continued to mount on Mountbatten-Windsor to give evidence in the US about his relationship with the paedophile financier.

A top Democrat last week demanded that he testify about Epstein as a "service" after his decades-long friendship with America's most notorious pedophile.
