The election of Klodian Braho as head of SPAK, Edi Rama reacts

Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted after Prosecutor Klodian Braho was elected today as the new head of the Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) by the High Prosecutorial Council, securing 7 votes in favor in the race with three other candidates.

Rama congratulated the new director of SPAK, wishing him "good work" in leading the institution, while congratulating the current director, Altin Dumani, whom he said  "deserves congratulations for the undeniable achievements of SPAK in the three years of his leadership." 

Among other things, the head of government states that SPAK has had, has and will have the unwavering support of the governing majority, to fulfill its mission independently and under optimal conditions.

"Good job to the new director of SPAK, who was elected today among four candidates to further the work of the institution's third mandate, taking over from the current director, who deserves congratulations for the undeniable achievements of SPAK in the three years of his leadership. SPAK has had, has and will have the unwavering support of our governing majority, to fulfill its mission independently and under optimal conditions ," Rama writes in "X".
