Vlora, attempted to burn police officer's vehicle, suspected perpetrator arrested

Vlora Police have timely stopped the deliberate burning of a vehicle owned by a police officer.
As a result of the fire, another vehicle was also engulfed in flames.
The suspected arsonist is identified, captured, and detained.
The person who ordered the burning of the vehicle, who is under the security measure "Arrest in prison", has also been documented with legal evidence.
The vehicle in which the suspected perpetrator was traveling is seized as material evidence.
As a result of intensive and professional investigative actions, the Police services made it possible to identify, capture and detain citizen AM, 39 years old, resident of Vlora, a person with a criminal record, as the suspected perpetrator of the arson.
Investigations show that this citizen, on 14.04.2026, burned the "Ford C-Max" vehicle, owned by a DP Police employee.
As a result of the spread of flames, another Mercedes-Benz vehicle, owned by citizen RK, was also involved and damaged.
Following investigative actions, the suspected perpetrator of this event was identified, citizen LH, 35 years old, resident of Vlora, who is currently under the security measure "Arrest in prison".
Preliminary investigations suspect that this event is related to a police operation dated 02.04.2026, during which the services of the "Eagle" special force, including the DP Police officer, caught citizen LH red-handed, after he had violated the "House Arrest" security measure, imposed by the Court for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics".
