The Minister of Justice reacts to the decision of the Supreme Court of Justice on legal assistants in the courts: A positive step towards reducing the stock of files

The Minister of Justice, Besfort Lamallari, has welcomed the decision of the High Judicial Council to approve 41 vacant positions for legal assistants in the courts of first instance and appeal, describing it as good news and a concrete step towards improving the justice system.
According to Minister Lamallari, this decision directly serves to reduce the backlog of files and accelerate the process of delivering justice, one of the most sensitive issues facing the judicial system in the country today.
Minister Lamallari's full statement:
The decision of the High Judicial Council to approve 41 vacant positions for legal assistants in the courts of first instance and appeal is good news. A concrete step that directly serves to reduce the backlog of files and accelerate the delivery of justice. I also raised the need for this intervention at Monday's meeting for the start of the new judicial year. Increasing capacities and strengthening human resources in our justice system is not simply an administrative measure, but a political choice in the service of citizens, for a more efficient, faster and more reliable justice. Of course, also with non-negotiable democratic standards, just like in the countries of the European Union.
