The 38-year-old woman was in a coma after an accident with her child in Elbasan the day before.

A 38-year-old young mother from Korça, who was involved in a serious accident on the Elbasan-Peqin road yesterday, has ended up in a coma due to the severe collision and the injuries she sustained.

She was driving a Mercedes Benz E Class when she decided to undertake the overtaking maneuver.

Unfortunately, the young woman was unable to calculate the time and speed required to get back into her lane and ended up in front of a heavy-duty truck.

The collision was so powerful and severe that the Mercedes was completely destroyed in the front, on the driver's side.

The 38-year-old mother is reported to be in critical condition, despite being rushed to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana.

Doctors have been by his side every minute since yesterday to keep him alive.

Her child was also in the vehicle, who fortunately is in perfect health and only suffered minor injuries from the serious accident.
