DP protest, 20 people are escorted by police

20 people have been escorted by police after the Democratic Party's national protest.

Due to the clash between protesters and police, it is reported that 16 officers were injured.

MP Bledion Nallbati was also injured. He suffered serious injuries due to police violence and the use of tear gas against him.

We recall that some of the protesters were forcibly escorted by the police and dragged through the streets of Tirana.

This was the third national protest by the DP, as the opposition demands the resignation of Edi Rama and Belinda Balluku, following the latter's involvement in corruption scandals and being officially charged by SPAK for tender abuses.

She has been suspended from duty, but is also being asked to lift her immunity and open the way for her arrest.
