State Police publishes gruesome footage from the hospital: 16 police officers injured during the protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office and Parliament

The State Police has made public the consequences of the protest held this afternoon by the opposition, which led to physical clashes and the use of incendiary devices.
According to the official statement, 16 police officers were injured during the rally that started in front of the Prime Minister's Office and then moved towards the Parliament building. The officers were urgently transported to the hospital for medical assistance, after suffering burns from Molotov cocktails and physical injuries from being hit with hard objects.
The capital's blues explain that throughout the rally, protesters were called on by megaphone to distance themselves from violent acts. Despite calls for calm, part of the crowd continued the intense attacks.
"Attacks on police officers continued until the end of the rally with Molotov cocktails, pyrotechnics and hard objects," the Police statement said.
Law enforcement agencies have immediately begun work to collect evidence at the scene. The police say they are documenting every case of violence with the aim of identifying those responsible and holding them criminally accountable.
At the conclusion of the response, the State Police thanked the citizens who chose to distance themselves from violence, as well as the media for covering the situation, reiterating their determination to guarantee public order and security.
