OSHE/ Implementation of new schemes for payment of debts in installments begins, categories benefiting from interest reduction of up to 100%

The Universal Service Provider (USP), part of OSHEE Group, has launched the implementation of new relief schemes for the installment payment of electricity bills, incurred until December 31, 2024.
The installment payment scheme affects all categories of FSHU clients, with a special focus on categories in need, who are given the opportunity to enter into agreements even for obligations created in 2025.
Who are the beneficiaries?
The agreements include: family clients with economic assistance, retired heads of household and persons with special status, who can repay the obligations created until December 31, 2025, starting from 1,200 lek each month, provided that they have no new outstanding obligations for 2026.
Other family customers will pay fixed monthly installments starting from 2,800 lek for overdue bills until December 31, 2024, provided that they have not created new debits for the period 2025–2026.
To maintain an affordable and fair standard, the maximum number of installments will be no more than 240 installments.
In any case, the client has the right to choose a payment installment, with a value higher than the minimum value, adhering to the condition of a maximum of 240 installments.
For budgetary and non-budgetary categories, the scheme of act-agreements provides for the inclusion of the entire obligation in the agreement, with the number of installments determined according to the value of the debit for overdue invoices until December 31, 2024, provided that no new debits have been created for the period 2025–2026.
