Tirana Police announced today that they have arrested a 40-year-old man, who was found to be driving under the influence of narcotics, making dangerous maneuvers.
Mishel Prela did not stop after the signal given by the police, and in an attempt to leave, he crashed into the police vehicle, endangering the lives of the officers.
But this name is not unknown to the public.
Prela is the main actor in the film "Saimir", played in Italy with the great actor Xhevdet Ferri.
But his life is a mix of fame, prison, an assassination attempt with 8 bullets, and even living in Tirana's asylums.
In November 2025, he turned to Fiks Fare to ask for help, while recounting the entire ordeal of his life.
Michel showed that his life is truly a movie, in addition to the acting.
"I had offers to do other films in leading roles but some problems happened to me that I had not foreseen. I went down the wrong path. I returned to Albania and a problem happened to me. I accidentally got into a conflict to protect an old friend. That person came to shoot me. In self-defense, I shot him too ," Micheli claims.
For this incident, he went to prison and was charged with assault.
"They sentenced me to 10 years in prison. I got a lawyer and sat him down, I spent 5 years in a cell at my youngest and best age," he says.
The 40-year-old adds that he had made up with the person he had been in conflict with.
"This person I wounded brought in other people to kill me. He didn't come himself, he paid a killer. The one I didn't know at all, I was in a hotel, as soon as I came out he called me 'Mishel' and I remember the first bullet passing by my ear. It thundered for a long distance, to the 'Partizani' school, not stopping at all. I had 8 shots, 8 bullets in my body. I still have one in my bone, which saved me because I had a flight. He shot me in the back and followed me with all 8 bullets", he recounts.
It also shows the most dramatic moment of the confrontation with the killer.
"In the end, I remember that he came and put the gun to my forehead. I reacted and grabbed the gun in his hand. I raised it because I would not be here that day. He put it to my head again, but he had no more bullets and ran away. The bullet hit my hand. This was paid by the person in question, 80 thousand euros for my elimination. The assassin is in prison, while the person who ordered it does not know", adds Micheli.
He went through another drama in the hospital, which lasted a full 6 months. In the end, he revealed that after all this suffering, he was left homeless.
"I live in the 'Strehëza' center in Shkozë. I currently have many problems, I am alone. I came and said to turn to Fiksi, national and international artists, whoever wants to help me. Where I am at 'Strehëza', I am with 20 other people and I have no way to treat my leg or how to move. They told me that they would give me a house. I have no other option, I get a camp for 140 thousand old lek per month, which is not even enough for my treatment ," said Misheli./ Top Channel
