Changes in the Republican Guard/ Several leaders move, law change planned after failure to elect general director

Some changes have occurred today in the Republican Guard.

It is learned that the Director of Planning and Control (DPK), Chief Commissioner Arjan Sopiqoti, has been removed from his post.

Agim Hila has been appointed as the first director in his place. The Director for the Security of High State Personalities (DSPLSH) has also left, while the position remains vacant.

Meanwhile, following the failure of the competition for the Director General of the Guard, the Guard is planning to amend the law to change the criteria for appointing the Director and restore the age of retirement for senior ranks: Chief Commissioner 57 years old, Director 59 years old and First Director 61 years old.

These suggestions are being made by working groups.
