The European Commission, in a reaction to MAPO, states that the fight against corruption is of fundamental importance. Asked about the situation created in the Mandates Council, where the SP stated in discussions that the arrest measure against Belinda Balluku is not necessary at the moment, but that the final decision will be made by the meeting of the SP MP group, a spokesperson for the EC adds that they do not comment on ongoing issues, MAPO writes.
