The EU Ambassador to Tirana, Silvio Gonzato, commented on the meeting with the chairmen Arbjan Mazniku and Luçiano Boçi of the Special Committee for Territorial and Administrative Reform in the Albanian Parliament.
In a reaction on Facebook, Gonzato stressed the importance of a comprehensive and fully transparent reform, built on accurate data and broad consensus.
He also added that the speed of reforms cannot come at the expense of quality and increased efficiency cannot come at the expense of local democracy.
