'Wolt' riders in Vlora protest, demand pay increase

Dozens of food delivery drivers, part of the "Wolt" company, have gone out in protest this Thursday afternoon, in the city of Vlora, demanding the fulfillment of several demands that, according to them, are fair and legitimate.

At the center of the demands is the increase in the payment value for each kilometer traveled during the delivery of orders from restaurants to the customer's address.

Motorists say that orders are often requested to be delivered to the highest floors of buildings, so they are requesting that an additional payment be provided for these cases.

They also require that in cases where the customer chooses the fastest delivery option, couriers also receive an extra payment.
