Flames engulf the Zharrëzë Stream in Fier, residents of the area on alert

The fire engulfed the Zharrëzës Stream area this afternoon, causing alarm among residents of the area.

The flames spread rapidly, aided by the wind, covering a significant area and reaching near the main road.

The situation was critical at times, as a greenhouse located very close to the fire was also at risk.

Firefighters immediately arrived at the scene and began work to bring the flames under control and prevent them from spreading further.

So far, no human injuries have been reported, while the firefighting operation continues.
