The future of coach Silvinjo remains in question in Albania. The Brazilian has a contract valid until July, while so far there has been no renewal or termination of the cooperation.
Silvinjo is not currently considering resigning, while it remains in the hands of the Albanian Football Association, which has so far been respecting the contract. Italy, meanwhile, recently set an example, where it can be understood what happens if Silvinjo is fired, but his successor has not been decided.
Coach Alban Bushi, who leads the Albanian U-21 team, could be placed on the bench for the June matches. Silvio Baldini was appointed as Italy's interim coach today, to lead the team in the friendlies against Luxembourg and Greece.
Baldini has been in charge of the Italy U-21 team since July last year. Until the appointment of a coach to succeed Gattuso, he will also work for the first team.
