Armando Rabi has announced his platform for the race for chairman of the Democratic Party of Albania in the Gjirokastra branch, seeking the support of the Democrats for a process of rebuilding and unifying local structures.

"Time to rebuild the Gjirokastra PD"
This is my platform for Chairman of the Democratic Party, Gjirokastra Branch.
I, Armando Rabi, have been by your side for years as a journalist and as a spokesperson for the Democratic Party. I have been your voice and together we have formed a strong, fair and unwavering opposition.
This path has not been easy. We have faced pressures, blackmail, intimidation and personal costs.
There have been moments when it was easier to remain silent…
but I have never stopped. With voice and image I have denounced injustices, and I will continue to do so every day, with faith in God and with your faith.
I have been and will always be on the side of the citizens.
Today I come before you not only to ask for your vote, but above all to ask for your trust.
The belief to revive the Democratic Party in Gjirokastra, the party where we were born politically, where we grew up and where we made our contributions. Today, let us say it honestly:
the Gjirokastra Democratic Party is not at the level it deserves. It needs new energy, unity and strong leadership.
I know that many of you feel tired, disappointed, perhaps even forgotten. But I firmly believe that this is our moment to rise again stronger.
Therefore, I invite you to join forces.
Let's rebuild the Democratic Party together.
Let's once again be a strong voice for the citizens of Gjirokastra.
Let's restore hope to every democrat and every family of Gjirokastra.
My priorities:
1- The recovery and strengthening of the Democratic Party in Gjirokastra,
which has started from the ground up: sections, group-sections and every local structure, a strong party is built from the bottom up.
2-Youth is the heart of the future.
Re-establishing and strengthening the Youth Forum will be an absolute priority. Young people will not only be supporters, but decision-makers.
3-Equality and representation
Gender equality will be a reality at every level of leadership and representation.
4- Meritocracy and values
Every contribution will be valued. Every individual will have the space they deserve, based on work and integrity.
5- Opening up to young people and citizens.
I will work to bring young people, professionals, and every citizen who believes in change closer together and become members.
6- Victory in the 2027 local elections
With joint work, organization, and a new spirit, we have every opportunity to win the Municipality of Gjirokastra.
Our city deserves more.
You, citizens of Gjirokastra, deserve more.
I promise you that I will be the one I have always been, your
tireless, dedicated voice, by your side day and night, in every battle and in every challenge.
Today, more than ever, Gjirokastra needs an alternative that listens, understands and acts.
