Gjimshiti wants to make history for the Bergamo club, he can achieve it against Lecce in Ramadan

Berat Gjimshiti will return to the pitch on Monday against Lecce at the Stadio Via del Mare. Like De Ron, Kolasinac and Pasalic, the Albanian international is aiming to be one of the driving forces of this team, having another season of hard work in defence.

The match against Lecce, however, will not be a match like any other for Gjimshiti.

The red and black defender would make his 327th appearance for the Bergamo club, surpassing Valter Bonacina and becoming Atalanta's fourth most capped player. After Pasalic, Bellini and captain Marten De Ron, he is looking to make history and lead the team back to victory.
